Hi, I’m Amy Baron Hatch

I work with every Harmony customer directly to design and build their website. I’m involved in every aspect, from research to strategy to design and development. I often bring in some amazing specialty contractors to support our work with their expertise.

I thrive on finding solutions that make great companies look as good online as they are in person. I’m honored that I’ve been able to support so many people and companies that are doing good things in the world.

With over 20 years in communications, marketing, graphic design, web design, and web development, I bring a wealth of experience to the website design process. Working with me is a collaborative and professional experience, and many clients continue our working relationship long after their website is built.

First and foremost, I’m a mom. I rejuvenate my creativity with regular walks in the forest, backpacking, yoga, meditation, and gardening. I give back in my community through volunteering my marketing skills and labor to a handful of nonprofit organizations. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where I’m living my dream as a small business owner supporting other small business owners and nonprofit organizations.

Supporting our community

Volunteering and giving back is incredibly rewarding, so you may say I do it for myself. Here are just some of the ways I support my community.

Lolo Light Foundation

Lolo Light Foundation provides a safe environment where youth victims of sexual abuse and trafficking can heal through art and nature. I’m on the Lolo Light board of directors and use my skills as the Communications Director because I believe that they’re supporting these kids in an amazing way.

The Empowerment Center

The Empowerment Center in Tacoma is an independent non-profit that diverts tons of food each year from the landfill to thousands of families and homeless who would otherwise go hungry. They’ve also been instrumental in putting people to work, diverting them from homelessness, and restoring individuals to self-sufficiency. I love to spend part of my Saturdays with this awesome group of people as we create boxes for the drive-through food bank. I also created an awesome new website!

Amy has created two websites for my businesses over the past 5 years. She is fantastic and makes this process so easy and fun. Amy’s marketing background was essential in helping me to create a clear, concise message to my clients while also coming up with a design for a website that was professional, approachable, and comprehensive. Amy is collaborative every step of the way and I highly recommend her.

Margot Burns

Owner, Margot Burns Coaching

We worked together to create a label and website for my new small business—a whole new world for me. They were endlessly patient and led me step by step through the process. They were open to ideas and changes, and were artistically innovative to make the label and website beautiful products. Somehow they seemed to know what I wanted before I had envisioned it. Quite amazing! Along with their creative acumen they are also easy to work with, approachable, respectful, and kind.

Thank you so much for helping out our organization! You overhauled our website and taught me so much in the process. I appreciated how responsive Amy was when I had questions and how willing she was to help. I will recommend Harmony Graphic & Web Design to everyone!
